Nuestra Graduación

Nuestra Graduación, Stanford’s Chicanx/Latinx commencement, is an annual event held in conjunction with Stanford University’s Commencement intended to celebrate the achievements of Latinx undergraduate and graduate student degree recipients. The staff at El Centro are proceeding with plans to host Nuestra Graduación in-person on Saturday, June 15th 2024 (2:00pm) at Stanford Memorial Church.

To guarantee your graduate information will be displayed on the commencement program AND that you receive your stole, complete the registration form by 11:59PM PST ON Sunday, May 5th, 2024 .

*DUE TO GENEROUS DONATIONS & contribution from The Stanford Fund, THERE WILL BE NO FEE TO REGISTER FOR THIS YEAR'S NUESTRA GRAD CEREMONY*

Cap & Gown Ordering

Deadline to order rental regalia for pick up at the bookstore: April 17th for students and May 1st for faculty. Click here to find out how to order your regalia. 

The deadline to order rental regalia to be shipped to home (fees apply) is May 13th.

Purchasing Regalia: Faculty or Ph.D graduate students who wish to purchase Official Stanford University custom fine quality regalia must place orders no later than April 26th to allow for delivery.

Commencement vs Graduation:

Nuestra Grad is a commencement celebration and does not confer or issue degrees. You MUST apply to graduate through Axess by submitting your application.  GRADUATE & COTERM STUDENTS, please check with your department(s) on the process and due dates.
